Mumbai is under a cold wave as temperature drops leaving people searching for sweaters and warm clothing. As previously, under the Cancer Warrior Care Programme we did the ‘Beat The Heat’ in the summer, similarly CHF distributed sweaters to cancer patients and their caretakers outside Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. It is truly pathetic to see the condition of the cancer patients who already feel weak due to the chemo cycles, sitting on the pavement in the chilly cold weather. They were grateful for the warm sweaters. We are thankful to our sponsors and supporters who helped us in this distribution programme.
