In the month of May, we had a good time with a team from Mira Road distributing mosquito nets, mats, dried fruits and fresh buttermilk to the cancer patients outside Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. We distributed mosquito nets for the first time, CHF is the first to take such an initiative. They were very well received as mosquito nets were the need of the hour. As we interacted with them in our previous visits, we realised that many people on the street were affected with malaria. Therefore, to reduce the number of malaria cases among patients, this was our small way of addressing the issue.
