Empowering the Differently Abled

Catherine lost her left leg to cancer and although she never complained about it, it was extremely difficult for her parents to watch her adjust to a life with a prosthetic leg. She had to compromise on some of her dreams yet always encouraged others to pursue theirs. Her courage was her crown and she wore it like a queen. This is the inspiration behind CHF’s activities to lend a helping hand to those who are undergoing the same kind of pain.
CHF is committed to improve the living conditions of people with disabilities especially from poor socio-economic background. It aims at developing their skills, empowering them and help them to realize their full potential and talents.

Building hope for Cancer patients

After a cancer diagnosis, life changes. Catherine was just fourteen when cancer struck her. Her life transformed from school, friends and fun, to hospitals, doctors and chemotherapies. Even during her struggles, she remained positive and found her solace in God. She stood as an example to many.
CHF values life and aims at working towards giving underprivileged cancer patients a better life by providing assistance in the form of medication, financial aid and counseling. Many cancer patients in India are not able to afford the treatment costs and therefore do not survive the disease. We strive to bridge the gap that exists between destitute cancer patients and the best medical treatment they can receive.
