On September 24th, 2022, a team of senior staff from Infosys visited our Community Welfare Center in Ennore as part of their CSR initiative. Our staff and children were thrilled to welcome them from South Chennai.
The visit began with a traditional Tamil welcome, where the children honored each team member with garlands and shawls. The Infosys team was touched by this gesture and engaged warmly with the children, discussing our various programs, including tuition, computer classes, music classes, the Change Ambassadors Programme, and our library. They expressed their appreciation for the staff’s kindness and the supportive environment at the Center.
The Infosys team donated two computers, a box of books, pouches for younger children, and geometric boxes for older students and other essentials for the computer class. The children were delighted with these gifts, and the team celebrated by cutting a ribbon to officially dedicate the new computers.
The interaction with leading IT experts was inspiring for our children, demonstrating that with dedication and hard work, they too can achieve great things.
