When Mumbai was experiencing a cold wave, people required sweaters and warm clothing. In line with our Cancer Warrior Care Programme, which previously included the ‘Beat The Heat’ initiative during the summer, CHF distributed sweaters to cancer patients and their caretakers outside Tata Memorial Hospital in Parel, Mumbai.
It was concerning to observe the condition of cancer patients, weakened by chemotherapy, sat on the pavement in the cold weather. The recipients expressed deep gratitude for the warm sweaters.
