Santhosh's story is one filled with challenges and hardships. Due to his physical disabilities and limited understanding, he possesses a spark of anger that often leads him to hurt others. This behaviour makes it difficult for him to attend school, as he poses a risk to harm the other students. As a result, his mother stays at home to care for him, while his father works as a fisherman to support the family.

Living in rented quarters, in Ennore the family has been facing additional struggles. Their neighbours find it hard to accommodate Santhosh's disruptive behaviour, leading to the distressing situation of being asked to vacate their home. This puts the family in a dire predicament, as they lack the necessary funds to secure a new place to live. They are unable to provide an advance payment for another rental property, as their current advance is being utilised to cover their rent.

CHF is extending their support to this family by regularly  providing Healthy Grains to Santosh every month as a part of our Differently-Abled Empowerment Programme. The help provided by CHF, is a source of relief and comfort for the family.
