First Prosthetic Leg Donation Through CHF: In 2020, we were distributing grocery materials to differently-abled people in a village in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu.
There, we met Mottaiyandi, a middle-aged landless farmer. He told us that he had lost his right leg many years ago due to a non-healing ulcer. Since then, he had been earning a meagre income, working in the fields to support his family.
When we met him, he was using a very old prosthetic leg, which was causing him severe discomfort and pain and making it difficult for him to carry out his day-to-day agricultural work. We thank you for your generous support, through which we were able to provide him with a new and suitable prosthetic leg, fulfilling his request and requirement.
This is our very first prosthetic leg donation at CHF and so Mottaiyandi will be very special to us.
