Serve with love to empower that is the motto of CHF; and empowering all beneficiaries is our final goal. The differently-abled in the rural parts of India do not have the facilities and opportunities that are available in urban cities.

The same way, due to lack of resources, we find poor cancer patients from the interior parts of India, who have come for treatment to the big cities pitching their tents on the streets and living in pitiable conditions. Our programs aim to relieve some of the burdens of the differently-abled, the destitute cancer patients and people struggling with depression.

Over the following months, I was able to see my perspective evolve towards people who struggled and battled with various hardships in life. I learnt to be more compassionate, caring, and helpful to the community.

It is exciting to see the life transforming activities taken up by the Catherine Hope Center like free tuitions, music class, computer classes, environmental programs etc. So many kids and parents are blessed through this initiative.

My conversations with the cancer patients, documenting the lives of the DAEP beneficiaries and the children at the Center have left a profound impact on the way I think and the values that I uphold.

CHF is unique in the way it reaches out to the poor. We support our beneficiaries by spending time with them, listening to their specific needs and catering to it.

I’m not sure how many organizations hear the needs of people from the underprivileged, rural and differently-abled communities. But, CHF hears them out and I’m proud to be a part of it.

I had a blessed experience and was inspired by how you are transforming and touching many lives. I learned many things, including how we can serve God through these acts of service.

After seeing people suffering from such diseases, I realized that we should pray for those who are suffering and take the initiative to help them wholeheartedly—not for the purpose of receiving praise from others.

CHF helped me broaden my perspective on those who were suffering. I didn’t realize that the money I spent carelessly could be really important for someone else. As a team member, I was able to learn and sharpen many skills, which was of great use in the outside world.

I thank CHF. Not just me, it has given many people the opportunity to go to the field and meet them personally, meet their needs, spend time with them and make them happy.

Being a part of CHF makes me feel more connected with the world and those in need. The horizons of my world have evolved and I'm able to connect to the needy and suffering on a totally different level. Love being a part of this community.

It was very good to have hands-on experience, which involved the lives and suffering of cancer patients. I am very glad that CHF is providing such care and showing compassion towards the sick and needy.

A very commendable work being done by CHF, which inspires us to do better and better in our life. The story of Catherine brought a big hope in our life to survive with whatever we have and to be happy with the grace God has given to us.

It was truly a different experience [interacting with the patients outside Tata Hospital]. I came to understand how much people suffer and how difficult it is for them to afford even ₹200 for medicine.

Through CHF, we had a wonderful experience. The CHF team guided us well, and it was a great opportunity to interact with the patients directly and learn about their challenges.

One of the most impactful aspects of the visit was the opportunity to connect with the patients on a personal level and empathize with their pain and suffering.
