On February 26, 2025, during our visit to the Catherine Hope Center, we had the privilege of meeting the parents of our children.
Their words were truly heartwarming. They spoke of the impressive changes they had seen, such as how their children are now:
More focused on their studies
More disciplined at home
Excelling in extracurricular activities, especially winning medals, certificates, and awards at school
Listening to them, it felt as if they were describing Catherine herself because she was not only excellent at studies but also a gifted guitarist, singer, and very good at sports. She was dedicated, respectful, and full of promise.
At that moment, we saw Raising Catherine's in action. Young lives are being shaped, carrying forward the values Catherine stood for.
It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. We also visited our computer class, where students eagerly demonstrated what they had learned.
From mastering Excel to exploring functions they once found intimidating, their confidence was inspiring. Mr. Selvinson introduced them to coding, opening their minds to new possibilities and encouraging them to bring their friends along for the final stretch of their course.
One of the most touching moments came when a student, Kaviya, created a heartfelt PowerPoint tribute to Catherine Akka. It reminded us of how deeply Catherine’s life continues to inspire the children. As we wrapped up, there was an undeniable energy in the air. An eagerness to learn, grow, and build a future full of hope. These children are not just students; they are living proof of Catherine's legacy . And that is the true impact of Catherine Hope Center
